Tuçe Erel is a Berlin-based independent curator, art writer, and sound artist whose practice moves between contemporary art, ecological thought, and critical theory.
With a background in sociology, she approaches curating as a form of interdisciplinary inquiry, bringing together artistic practices, scientific perspectives, and speculative thinking. Informed by critical posthumanist thought, her research addresses ecological crises and more-than-human coexistence, examining the complex relationships between humans, technologies, and matter in its diverse forms.
Through exhibitions, writing, and sound, she explores how artistic practices can challenge anthropocentric perspectives, question established systems of knowledge, and open up alternative ways of understanding and inhabiting the world.
